How much does a website cost in 2026 (with my actual prices)
Real price ranges for a landing page, business website, online store and custom system — what each price includes, what drives it up, and how to avoid paying twice.

Short answer: in 2026, a professional website built by a developer in Brazil costs between R$ 1,200 and R$ 7,000 (roughly US$ 230 to US$ 1,300), depending on what it needs to do. A landing page sits at the low end; a custom system at the high end. Below that you're usually buying a template; above it you're paying for an agency with staff and an office.
These are my prices and I keep them public on purpose. Most website quotes only show up after an "alignment meeting", which makes them hard to compare. I'd rather you arrive already knowing.
The four formats and what each costs
| Format | From | Timeline | Who it's for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Landing page | R$ 1,200 | 3–7 business days | One service, one campaign, one goal: generate leads |
| Business website | R$ 2,700 | 10–20 business days | Clinics, law firms, schools, any company that needs trust and Google visibility |
| Online store | R$ 5,000 | 20–45 business days | Anyone selling products who wants to sell at 3 a.m. too |
| Custom system | R$ 7,000 | 30–60 business days | A business living in spreadsheets that needs clients, scheduling and reports in one place |
Prices are "from" because scope changes the number. A store with 30 products and flat shipping costs the minimum. A store with 800 products, size variations and an inventory integration costs more, and I tell you exactly how much before we start.
What's inside the price
This is what confuses first-time buyers the most. When I say R$ 2,700 for a business website, it includes:
- Up to 6 pages designed for your business, not a recolored template
- Copy reviewed with me (you send the material, I organize it to convert)
- An admin panel so you can swap photos, edit text and publish blog posts yourself
- Domain, hosting, SSL certificate and contact email set up
- Google Analytics and the SEO basics: titles, descriptions, speed and sitemap
- Mobile-ready, which is where most of your visitors come from
What's not included: photo and video production, copy written from scratch without your material, and ads on Google or Instagram. I put that in writing in the proposal so nobody finds out later.
What drives the price up
Three things, almost always:
- Integrations. Connecting the site to a scheduling tool, an ERP, a different payment gateway or WhatsApp automation. Each integration is real work and shows up as its own line item.
- Content that doesn't exist yet. If photos, copy and the list of services still need to be created, the project gains a stage. It can be done, but it's billed.
- Scope changes midway. "While we're at it, can we add a members area?" Yes. But it's a new package or hourly work (R$ 220/h, 2-hour minimum), not a favor that delays delivery.
And after the site is live?
A website isn't a fridge: someone needs to keep an eye on it. Hosting expires, security updates come out, the contact form stops sending because the email provider changed a rule.
That's why I offer monthly maintenance from R$ 249/month, covering hosting, domain, backups, security and one hour of tweaks. Book a project with 12 months of maintenance and get 10% off the project. You can also skip it and hire someone else later; the code, domain and credentials stay in your name either way.
How payment works
50% on proposal approval, 50% on delivery, via Pix, bank transfer or international payment. If you prefer, card installments are available, or we agree on other terms before starting. No hidden fees. If the project runs late because of me, the second half waits for delivery.
How to compare quotes
When the second or third quote arrives, look at these four things before the price:
- Are the domain and hosting in your name?
- Can you edit the site without paying by the hour?
- Is the maintenance cost written down, or "we'll see later"?
- What happens if you want to change something midway?
If all four answers are clear, the quote is honest, even if it's more expensive than mine. If they're not, the low price is usually the start of the bill, not the end.
If you are in Santa Maria or the region, the web development in Santa Maria page explains how in-person meetings work. Want the exact number for your case? Send me a message describing what the business does and what you expect from the site. Within 24 hours you get a written quote, and it doesn't change afterwards.
